Fat pens and pen and pencil holders

Writing is essential to daily life, be it a quick note to make a reminder about a supermarket purchase, or the writing of a Christmas or Birthday card.

Holding a pen or pencil can however become more difficult as a result of age, an accident, or a condition like arthritis.

The solutions to this problem come in the form of either extra thick pens, or pen and pencil holders (that add extra thickness) and are consequently easier to grip, i.e. they require less contraction of the fingers.

Extra thick pens

Extra thick soft touch contoured pens make holding a pen and writing a much less taxing challenge for anyone with grip weakness, arthritis or rheumatism.

The thick barrel of the pen does not require the fingers to tighten and contract as much, nor does it make writing anymore difficult from a dexterity point of view. These pens are ergonomically designed and have easy hold no slip finishes that add to their ease of use.

Pen and pencil holder

Pencil holders (or grips) can be slid up the barrel of a pen or pencil to increase its girth and make it easier to hold. They can be positioned at the most comfortable gripping position and removed when the pen runs out or the pencil has expired.

These holders make it possible to continue using a favourite pen and they can be easily transferred from one pen to another, or used in a shop or a friends home.
